nate meets the man-eating marilyn manson 2007-02-02 - 11:03 a.m.
Just to let you know, I met Marilyn Manson at HRC. I swear to God. You can ask Girl. Girl and I were busy checking out the clothes at the HRC shop until I start doing my infamous oh-I-see-someone-femes-or-hot-I-must-hyperventilate-now jig and squeezed Girl arm “OH MY GOD, Marilyn Manson just came in the shop!!!” I don’t remember squeezing Angga’s hand (deng I wish I did) but Marilyn Manson walked straight to the counter and spoke BAHASA INDONESIA.
“He works here” whispered Angga with a wink.
Well fakmesideways, even if he aint real that’s good enough fer me! But you have got to see him – same red outfit, lipstick, haircut, those high-as-hell boots and even white lenses! I know I know I should have snapped photos but I aint some star struck fan ok! *deny everything* Over at a shop in Seminyak I saw a man who looks like Edward Norton. I kid you not. It could be the real Edward Norton for all you care hmmm.
Second last batch of Bali pics. Posting them cause great pain right here in my chest here right here. Photos in my flickr will be uploaded gradually. Final entry will be a review of the hotel I stayed in. then we can all move on with our lives, my face will stop peeling, the non-tanned strip made by the watch will finally blend with the original color of my skin, my post-holiday blues will evaporate and I will get over Angga and his 1 juta miliyar smile. Except I don’t think I can.
This guy works at the coffee farm. You can ask him to do anything! He can even speak with a KL slang. Haha that always cracks me up. Before he left he said to us “I will show you a meat-eating spider the size of a human!” So we tiptoed behind him ala Pink Panther (or at least I did HA HA!) and as we look up, there was a spider the size of my iPod. Pah, the I one I saw was bigger.

Discovery Mall. The last time we went to Bali this place wasn’t even here. Here resides Krispy Kreme, Crocs boutique where the cute shopkeeper plays Dewa, there’s Sogo here too! Few meters from here there’s a seafood eatery called Bubba Gump All American Inc. Ha ha!
