Last night I went to Rahsia, located somewhere behind Yow Chuan Plaza (Jalan Damai). Initially we wanted to go to Frangipani or Top Hat (as recommended by Tatler) but settled for Rahsia instead.

Let me see, I liked the whole ambiance and deco. Old bungalow, white setting, candles, cozy and secluded, great view bla bla bla (please refer to this month’s Impiana magazine for pictures hehe). At first I thought the lighting was a bit too dim, but hey they don’t call it candlelight dinner for nothing. We had pandan chicken and top hat for appetizers, roast beef with thyme sauce and sesame chicken (a posh version of chicken chop, as noted by Mr Mine) as main course and ‘tirumisu’ – Rahsia’s version of tiramisu for dessert. Surprisingly the food was really good, compared to my colleague’s bad experience there during fasting month.

I think we stayed there for more than 2 hours. I didn’t want to go home really. The background music was good too, they played Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones and loads of laid-back jazz music. Ooh perfect.

Go ahead, do check the place out. My only warning is beware of the mosquitoes. But if you’re looking for complete privacy, then this is the place to go.

Picked up opening tickets to see Malaysian Comedy Week 03 on the 10th. With the price paid for the tickets, it better be VERY funny. Can’t seem to remember when was the last time I watched a play. Was it when Gavin Yap kissed a man or when Rashid Salleh cross-dressed? Hehe.

I think I should acknowledge this: I am in love. Can’t you tell?

p/s: Welcome back Mimsteroonie. Funny, I was thinking about you last nite, when i was about to order flambe-style creme brulee but i figured i'd wait for you instead. *hugsMimstightohsoverytighthaha*
